Touchstone Conference on Patriarchy with Nancy Pearcey

Touchstone magazine has an annual fall conference and this year the subject is patriarchy and fatherhood. They will have a number of speakers but Nancy Pearcey is one of them. It will be held at Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL.

I think it is a good thing. I am hoping to attend it. Touchstone is a periodical that tends to be broadly ecumenical but does have articles that I have found to be beneficial. Also, I have several books by Nancy Pearcey.

Are they using "Patriarchy" in a positive way? It gets a lot of heat nowadays.

They are using patriarchy in a positive way. Touchstone is a conservative Christian periodical written by Evangelical Protestants, RCC and EO. Go to there website and check them out. I have been getting their magazine for about a year now, and while I don't agree with everything they say, I always find them to be insightful, thoughtful, and with penetrating analysis of current thought.
