How would you translate "God is faithful" into Hebrew? I know Dt 7:9 says "the faithful God," but if I translate it as an adjective of predication, would it come out differently?

It wouldn't have the definite article that Deut 7:9 has. Deut 4:31 shows you "God is merciful"; Ps 7:12 "God is a righteous judge" Faithful, when used of God is usually ne'eman (Isa 49:7). Put them together and you have "God is faithful"

Would it look like this, or do I need to drop the article before El?
