I recently returned from a trip racing through Europe with my daughter's Sr and Jr Highschool class.
The guide was taking us to Westminster Abby and I suggested to her, that since the school was associated with our PCA church, that she might want to comment or highlight info about the Westminster Confession.
She said, "Oh, no... this is Church of England, we don't have confession here."
To clarify, I mentioned it was a document, like the larger and shorter catechisms.... and she told me they had catechism at the age of 10 or 11 before they are confirmed....
Clearly we weren't speaking the same language... I wish I had more time to flesh it out, but after the Palm Sunday Service we were quickly moving on.
