We have just reached a significant milestone: De Moor's treatment of the Doctrine of Scripture is now finished (~800 pages in translation). If you are interested in reading through the draft, begin here. Hopefully it will be in print this Spring. I give thanks to the Most High for His blessing.

The next volume is De Moor's treatment of "Religion". The term "Religion" has suffered some violence in our day. Among Evangelicals it has come to be associated with empty ritual and cold formalism. It can be frequently heard, "Christianity is not a Religion; it is a Relationship." However, in De Moor's day, if "Theology" was thinking and speaking about God, "Religion" was the life of the soul with God: in other words, "Religion" is the Relationship. If you are interested in the marriage of profound theological reflection, with practical and warm piety, you are going to love this!

[For the importance of this locus in the theological Prolegomena, see Muller's Post-Reformation Reformed Dogmatics: Volume 1.]

I have decided to start a reading group for this next locus, De Moor's treatment of "Religion", so that we might encourage and advise one another in these studies, and grow. If you are interested in joining the reading group, visit the website.
