I strongly disagree with Grudem in the area of the days of creation upon exegetical grounds. However, I was disturbed by this article's constant contrasting Grudem with "creationists." It's just sloppy. Grudem is a creationist, unless of course they are defining "creationist" differently than everyone else I've ever read. This is the kind of manipulation of language that we see in, and are rightly angered by, the discourse of liberals.
This sort of thing gets on my goat as well. The insinuation to the effect that anyone who is not a strict 6/24 proponent is an evolutionist is intellectually dishonest and only harms the cause of 6/24.
So he believes the earth is old, but that there has not been biological evolution?
