The Bible only speaks explicitly about the creation of man, and the physical world, but of the supernatural world it doesn't. Can we without being heretic say that angels were made in the image of God, or would it be best for us to keep our mouths shut?

Scripture tells us that man only bears the image of God. Why do you ask?

Because the angels seem to have certain communicable attributes of God, i.e intelligence etc. and they are the only other creatures that engage in purposeful worship or purposeful rebellion.
