Kregel Publications will publish Volume 1 of Ross's 2-volume commentary on the Book of Psalms. Looks quite massive - more than 900 pages on the first half of the Psalms. It's supposed to be out November 1. (The CBD catalog says the volume is on the first 72 psalms [which would make sense if it's a 2-volume set]; but Kregel's website says it covers the first 41 psalms [implying a 3-volume set?]. Guess we'll just have to wait and see!)
Has anyone read any of Ross's other books? If so, what do you think of his scholarship? Do you think this new commentary will be worth a look?
