The Passover Salvation Event itself must be distinguished from the Yearly Passover Commemoration, just as the Death of Christ itself must be distinguished from its Lord's Supper Commemoration.

There are distinctions to be kept in mind in both cases, some of which is relevant to the discussion of paedocommunion.

This is a very interesting post, Austin. I may be wrong, but I have taken a different approach than you have here. I am also a paedo-baptist. I have been persuaded by Dr. Schreiner concerning the new covenant (Jer. 31) being for believers only, rather that only believers are members of it. That still does not undermine infant baptism, because infant baptism is the sign (as was circumcision) of the Abrahamic covenant.
