Wife says Detroit. She's a Red Wings fan. Do they still throw the octopus on the ice??
At least hockey player dress modestly!!
The Tampa Bay Lightning.
A 100 years ago who would have ever thought a hockey team could even exist in Florida, much less win the cup?
Go Bolts!
Unless people are treating this as a "Who is your favorite team poll" I don't see how too many "other" votes can be submitted. I believe the OP was referring to this year's cup. The Bolts don't have a chance.

I know. I'm sorry, I got too excited and lost my head. I don't get to yell "Go Bolts" too much this year, I had a seriously delusional moment.
I'm pulling for the Penguins.
The Penguins will be an offensive power house for another year or so and then disband because of the salary cap.
I don't think they will perform well in the playoffs; too many young ones and not enough veterans.

That line of reasoning may have worked last year, but this year they have more mature talent and now some playoff experience. If young Fleury shows signs of buckling under the pressure they have the veteran Ty Conklin who is been outstanding this year.

Well I still think they need a few more years of maturing in order to take on veteran teams like Ottawa and Detroit. But they could prove me wrong!
If the Pens get knocked out, I have been pulling for a Canadian team to win the cup
Calgary Flames or any Canadian team other than Edmonton (not that they will likely make the playoffs).

Anybody But Calgary... or so my Edmonton friends tell me. But I'm a transplant so what do I know?

If the Flames go deep into the playoffs, there will be many Edmontonians begrudgingly jumping on the Calgary bandwagon the same way many of them did in 2004.
When is Edmonton going to take that silly "City of Champions" sign down?

So will I but I always root for all the Canadian teams. I was cheering when Calgary took down Minnesota the other night.
I don't know. I am from Leduc. We don't like Edmonton.
Pens Beat Devils 2-0!!!!!
