Has anyone read - or at least dipped into - Plumer's commentary on the Book of Psalms? Banner of Truth Trust republished it a year or so ago, and I've been considering it, off and on.

What do you like about it? What don't you like about it?

Yes its very good, it not that technical for sure, but good for a practical understanding and application of the psalm - there is a section at the end of each psalm, sometimes extensive which gives "Doctrincal and Practical Remarks" - extremely useful in my opinion. Good for quotes for historic writers and commentators.

Maybe not so directly Christocentric as some may prefer, but I don't see that as a negative for the commentary itself.
