I was able to get Academic pricing for a copy of Windows 7 Pro Upgrade for $29. I was running Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit on my Lenovo T400 that I use for all my business/seminary stuff so I decided to do a custom install of Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I bought a 500 GB Notebook HDD for $85 from NewEgg and did a custom install on the new hard drive. I'm going to connect the old hdd via USB to transfer files. The install went really smoothly and I like the idea of having a fresh OS on my hdd but it's going to take some time to install the new programs.
The nice thing now is having a 500GB Hard Drive. As I type this, Logos 4 is 35% complete with its 5.8 GB download of all my libraries...
