I have enjoyed books on tape for some years now. However, being somewhat slow (I'm just a baptist), it never crossed my mind that hearing a classic read well would add to my understanding of it.
Currently, my wife and I are each listening to Pink's The Sovereignty of God (unabridged) on audio. Robert Whitfield's narration is amazing. You might be surprised at how new truths jump out at you when listening to an especially good reading of a familiar classic.
