My father just picked this up this up for me. He found it at a library sale in Clarkdale, AZ for $1.00.

It is small, brown and hard bound. No copyright date can be found in it. It is by Rev. James I. Good, D.D..

Looks like it might have been printed in the 50's or 60's.

Was nice of my father to get it for me. He is not reformed or Calvinistic in his religious beliefs.

Good was a conservative historian (though I think I recall that he described his theology as Amyraldian!) who reacted to the liberal drift of the RCUS in the late 19th and early 20th century. He served as a counterpoint to the Mercersburg Movement (led by Nevin and Schaff). His stuff on the HC is among the better work in the 19th and early 20th century. He's quite useful and under appreciated.

I just read through it on Google Books

I just read the Church History portion in the back of the book. It is a very nice little book. I am amused by some of the pietist hymns Good includes in the back of the book.
