I have read the whole thing for my Ephesians sermons. I really liked it. He is better on the smaller level of exegesis (word and phrase level), than on the larger level, but an extremely well-researched commentary that I would highly recommend. It is, of course, a very technical commentary. He and O'Brien get the top marks for modern commentaries on Ephesians.

Harold W. Hoehner, long time Dallas Seminary prof, holds his Ph.D. from Cambridge University, and did postdoc study at Tübingen University. I used his chronology book back in the late 70s. Very capable exegete and very careful scholar.

He is certainly Calvinistic on election. Whether he is on limited atonement, I don't know, but if he was, it certainly did not stick out in the commentary. It seems to me that he was fairly influenced by S. Lewis Johnson on these matters.
