"Infinite, and an infant. Eternal, and yet born of a woman. Almighty, and yet hanging on a woman’s breast. Supporting a universe, and yet needing to be carried in a mother’s arms. King of angels, and yet the reputed son of Joseph. Heir of all things, and yet the carpenter’s despised son. Oh, the wonder of Christmas." Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834-1892)

Snagged from Dr. George Grant's Blog.

The mystery of the incarnation never ceases to amaze me. Very God of Very God born of a virgin and walked among us. The Very Eternal stepped into time. Wow!

The wonder of wonders
O how could it be
That God becam flesh
And was given for me
The Almighty came down
And walked among men
The wonder of wonders
He died for my sin
