Any other Kindle Fire users having trouble?

Brethren,

I enjoy accessing the PB through my Kindle Fire HD's "Silk" web browser.

Lately, though, whenever I attempt to load the page, Silk hangs and crashes. I've tried it directly (typing the URL into the address bar), through the PB bookmark I've got, and even tried to come through the back door by Googling "puritanboard forum" or "puritanboard [topic]" and entering through that link. No dice, for nearly 3 weeks now.

My KF has over 80% of its memory free, and no other open tabs in the browser. I've emptied the cache, deleted cookies, used a task manager to kill all other processes, and rebooted the KF. So far as I know, my Silk browser is updated properly. The browser works well on other sites (gmail, monergism, etc.) My wi-fi is good; no problems accessing the PB or other pages through my iPhone or laptop using it.

Any ideas?

It is working for me. I haven't used it for P B since December so I had to test it to make sure that it would work.

Edward, I get the initial Tapatalk screen, skip it, and then it attempts to load the "Forum" page and hangs. Every time.

Just tried my kindle fire HDX and it worked ok for me.

Try the Microsoft cure - do a hard re-boot. And try deleting and re-installing Silk.

I do NOT like the Silk browser. But I haven't had this problem.

I was hoping to avoid going that route, but it looks like I might have to do it.

You mention you don't like the Silk browser. Do you use an alternate browser? If so, what do you recommend?
