According to this man, who is having trouble understanding election, he finally gets it - man elects God!

His proof text is 1 Thessalonians 1:4, which he reads from the King James,

Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

then he actually says, (I copied it word for word)

So the election is from the person, us, doing, we're electing God, we're saying "God, we take you." Now, I'll show you what happens in the NIV, this is a system of works in contrast. What they do, they pervert it, they say "For we know brothers, loved by God, that He has chosen you." You see the difference? They had completely, uh..

Then he changes the subject. This is absolutely unbelievable. I was so struck by this comment that I remembered over a month later the date of the show and the timing, and I found it right away.

I think this train of thought must eventually take over those who reject the Doctrines of Grace, that we elect God, when God plainly choses - even to the point that they will say that God's election is a system of works.
