God Loves Me,
We're a Happy Family,
With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you,
Won't you say God loves me too?
We're all God's children because I just can't imagine God creating people just so he can torture them in Hell one day. There are many ways to the same God.
Growing up in Arkansas, I just never remember hearing this a lot from people who claimed to be Christians. Maybe I was sheltered. Who knows? Lately, I am seeing and hearing this type of sentimental religion which serves grandpa and Dr. Spock instead of God. Please pardon the generalization, but typically, it comes from the following groups:
Women
Liberals
and gays
I pray that God will open their eyes and soften their hearts to the truth of his holiness and justice, so they can see that it is by grace, not works that you are saved.
