Book Recommendation

Does anyone have one or two recommendations as to a book on the basics of the faith? Something you could feel confident to give to an unbeliever or a young Christian.

I haven't read Grudem's 'Christian Beliefs: Twenty Basics Every Christian Should know.' Is anyone able to tell me his views on creation?

Why I Believe in God (linked) might be very helpful, although the references to scientists might be dated. I recall Mr. Van Til also covering this topic as if he were in a conversation with a student which had much more relaxed feel to it. Don't have the time to look that up right now ...
