Constant Accusing vs Constant Intercession

Last night I was astounded by how flippantly and apathetic we walk daily in the light of the following:
"...Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them..."
(Hebrews 7:25)

"...for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night..."
(Revelation 12:10)

Both do not rest.

But, thanks be to God, our advocate is infinite and eternal, whereas our foe is finite and created; a formidable enemy to be sure, but the one who is in the world is not greater than He who is within! Our tireless advocate in every way far outstrips our relentless opponent, for which we give praise to our God!

Peace,
Alan

I like to think of God saying to Satan's accusations against His saints in Christ: "Have you considered my servant Von, in whom there is no deceit?"

Just so, Jeremy. You've wondered about your calling on another thread. What you just did here is a pretty good expression of the general office of believer, whatever else you may find yourself doing for the Lord Jesus (whether shepherding your family, writing, working with your hands, etc.). Good word, brother!

Peace,
Alan

Thank you for the encouragement, brother [emoji4]
