I have posted fewer times in close to five years, than many contribute in a month, so it is probably unnecessary to post this. I could simply stop coming to the site, and life would continue. With that said, I believe in being open:
The time has come for me to go. The board has changed a great deal in the years that I have been a member, many of the changes have been positive, several have not. I leave not due to any particular change within the board, but due to the lack of the “edification factor”. I used to see the evidence of edification or education from the time spent on the board, this is no longer the case.
In addition to this, I am no longer able to justify the time spent on the board. No matter how great the potential benefit, it is not as important as the time that is spent with the Lord, with my family, and other duties.
I wish you all the best in your journey toward the glorification of Christ.
