Hello,

I am wanting to intensively study the topic of free will as confessed/articulated in the Augustinian/Reformed tradition. I have compiled a short list of primary sources, and I am looking for any recommendations or suggestions to help expand it. What books should I read beyond these? Secondary sources are welcome as well. Your help will be much appreciated.

1. Augustine, On Free Choice of the Will

2. Martin Luther, The Bondage of the Will

3. John Calvin, The Bondage and Liberation of the Will

4. Jonathan Edwards, The Freedom of the Will

5. J.L. Girardeau, The Will in Its Theological Relations

Muller, Richard. Divine Choice and Human Willing.
Van Asselt, Willem. Reformed Thought on Freedom.
Francis Turretin, Institutes (relevant sections).

Turretin and Girardeau will give you a better grasp of the issues than Edwards.

If one looks into Girardeau's work, they also might benefit reading up on the exchange Girardeau had with James A. Waddell in the Southern Presbyterian Review:

Here is Waddell's piece: https://www.pcahistory.org/HCLibrary/periodicals/spr/v31/31-4-4.pdf
