One of my grandchildren (the one in my avatar) is named "Charis" - grace. But, it gets pronounced "care-is" by most people.


Anna (cf. Hannah) - favor or grace.

Chara - joy.

Chloe - green shoot.

Nickie (Nike) - victory.

Phoebe - pure or bright/shining.

Sepphora/Zipporah - bird.

Sophia - wisdom.

Tabitha/Dorcas - gazelle.

Talitha - little girl.

Theodora - gift of God.

Zoe - life.

One of my daughters is named Evangeline. Although it has been anglicized a bit, it is Greek in origin and means bearer of good news.
 
I've got 2 myself: Anna and Sophia

Another name to consider (very pretty sounding)

Erana (pronounce Eranay with the emphasis on the last syllable) means peace.
