I ran a Mac Scan and came up clean. The article seemed a bit vague. In the past I heard about some malware that didn't harm your computer, but used it as a spambot without you knowing it. Thanks for the warning.

My proverbial response; use Linux.

And/Or use a personal firewall and stop using Adobe Flash.

I use MacScan too, Rich, and also Norton AV 12 (NAV did catch a virus when I hit a wrong link once - I don't want to be sending bad stuff to my PC friends!). Apparently in this latest one there was a vulnerability in Java, and a lot of Apple folks got hit. I update my and my wife's computers regularly, and I'll be doing it even more from now on.

Jandrusk, what are the vulnerabilities from using Flash? My Mac has a built-in firewall. I'll be sticking with the Mac OS - that's a bottom line.
