Help Identifying a Hymn

I need some help identifying a hymn that I know is found in the red Trinity Hymnal. Unfortunately, I don't recall any specific lyrics. I do remember that the general content of the hymn has to do with covenant children. I don't remember ever actually singing this hymn in church so I don't know if it's unpopular, but I do remember someone referencing it once and I saw it in the red Trinity hymnal. I know I'm not giving much to go on, but any help would be appreciated.

I don't know what number it is in the Red Trinity Hymnal, or even if it would be found in there for that matter, but what you have DESCRIBED sounds an awfully lot like this:

The hymns in the Trinity are topically arranged. You should be able to look in the front and find a handful of hymns on the subject of baptism and look there.

Is it "Dear Lord, Today Our Child" #414?

Dear Lord, today, our child,
An heritage from thee,
We bring in faith and claim for him
Thy promise free.

Another one is "Our Children, Lord in Faith and Prayer" #413

Our children, Lord, in faith and pray'r,
We now devote to thee;
Let them thy cov'nant mercies share,
And thy salvation see.

There are other hymns pertaining to covenant baptism around the 400-teens in the red Trinity.
