How can you not like someone this corny?

I mean this is Leave it to Beaver and Andy of Mayberry type people. The clip is dated but I like it just because it is so different from the "professional" politicians. I know some will pull out the beating a dead horse character but even if he doesn't have a chance to win I want people to have to hear the message.

yeah me too. When I say it it is not a criticism. Gee Wally, I would love to be in Mayberry right now.

No offense taken here. I know that there were probably few families like the Cleavers or the Taylors, but my family came pretty close. I identify more closely with Mayberry. I grew up on a farm near a very small village. It was a quiet life. I missed many of the things that was happening in the larger world and I think I'm the better for it.

I do identify with the Cleavers in one respect. My Mom was always home. I knew she would be there when I got home from school with a nice little snack for me, mostly whole milk and homemade cookies.

It was a very good life and I have told my parents so, even recently.
