Hello;

I am planning trips.

It would be SO much easier if supporters could see my Google Calendar themselves and pick a free date.

How do I show them my calnder without giving them my username and password?

In your Google Calendar:

1. Settings
2. Calendar
3. Sharing Column >> Shared: Edit Settings

At this point you have a number of options. Choose the one that works for you.

I think this will do the trick.

Another option (if you use Outlook) is to export your calendar as a web page and upload it to a server. You designate the address (for instance: http://www.yourdomain.com/mycalendar.html)

I hope this helps...

Greetings,
We did this once when we planned a trip and wanted to visit a lot of people along the way. It worked very well for us.
First, create a new Google calendar that includes your itinerary so far.
Then go to Settings and choose the tab for Calendar Settings where you will see a list of your calendars
Under the Sharing column you can edit the settings to make the calendar public, or to share it only with those whom you choose. You will have to provide an email address for each of the individuals that you would like to share it with.
Hope this helps.

Okay, so I have shared my calendar with a few pastors.

The trouble is....none of these pastors themselves use Google calendar.

Do they have to use google calendar in order to open my google calendar?

Another option Curt helped me with this morning is to embed the calendar on a website. No password or Google use needed. You can update from anywhere you use Google and the embed updates itself.
