King Kong

I watched about 1/2 of King Kong last night. I have not found it that interesting. What do other people think? SE are great, but the story is boring to me at least. And I think there is more taking of the Lord's name in vain in this PG-13 movie than any other movie I can think of that I have seen recently. It is really offensive.

Yeah, I agree.

The second 1/2 is the better part of the movie. All action with Kong and dinosaurs... Less dialogue.

I finished it last night. It was so silly.

Is Kong a tragic hero in the movie? The film portrayed his death as sad and to the sorrow of Ann, the heroine. he died fighting against his cruel, greedy opressors.

I'm halfway through but I have the TV Guardian and it filters out profanity and blasphemy.

That's exactly how it came across to me as well and I too found it silly.
