Hey everyone! I hope this is in the the right section.

I've heard it said, "Knowledge is dominion, such that for almost every instance they are found together". By "dominion", it is meant "the enabling of control in order to have influence over it". It's argued that between human relationships, the relationship between knowledge and dominion is foundational.

Would you agree with this understanding of knowledge?
Is this true of all human relationships?
If true, what are the implications when we talk about our knowledge of God?

Thanks.

Without knowing the full context of the statement it will be difficult to answer. But we can affirm that the implications of knowledge in some sense being dominion is that our knowledge of God affects the way we view the world, which in turn affects the way we interact with the world. The more we grow in our knowledge of God the more I'd say our dominion over creation will grow.
