Im not to sure what to think about the first post slash interview not that it was a bad interview but Im not to sure hwo to balance out the 'reformed-charismatic' schtik

This John Samson that he interviews is an interesting fellow who is from England originally. Sort of a Reformed-Charismatic who pastors some kind of independent and probably Baptistic church in Phoenix. I heard his radio program while I was out there a few months ago. I seem to remember that it was pretty good, but I can't remember what he spoke about.

Im not one to deny him as a good godly minister just because he has charismatic tendicies. Just when he mentions 'divine healing meeting' etc... which Im not to sure about.

After being through pentecostal churchs all my life its enough to give you the creeps.

I can understand. I know plenty of former charismatics-turned-reformed (including my pastor) and I know the tendency to be wary of anything even remotely near to 'where you came from'.

A friend of mine taught me, though, that we should never completely 'despise' the place where we came from. I still have a healthy respect for my old traditional baptist dispensational church with my old pastor who sat under Ryrie He's responsible for me knowing what little I know about the greek language and he also shored me up real good against the JW's with a heavy emphasis on the Deity of Christ. (that was the FIRST church I was at, not the last one I just left).
