Mountain Meadows Massacre

[Richard King]

This is not part of OUR church history but it is part of US history that I was never taught.
That doesn't mean all that much. It is not like I am a history expert. Still I continue to be amazed at how much I have not heard. How little I know.

Anyone else heard of it?

I heard about several years ago. I was at a church where a class was being taught about mormonism.

When was the last time a movie was made that had heavy Mormon subject matter?

When was the last time a Mormon ran for President?*

Well I don't know that this movie is going to be something the Mormans are going to be proud of. But the timing is interesting isn't it.

I had never heard of it. This should be a good film to see.

I learned of this, oh, 25 years or so ago as I studied Mormonism. Outside of an interest in Mormonism you probably would not come across this.
