I recently began reading David F. Wells’ No Place For Truth, and I am thoroughly impressed.
The way he describes the nature of life in a town like Wenham before modernity, and then contrasts it with the changes that modernity has brought—this is giving words to what I’ve been feeling and struggling through since my early 20’s.
It’s putting into place the diverse and seemingly disconnected observations and longings I’ve made a habit of thinking about for years.
I may or may not want to discuss portions as I read them, but for now, has anyone else read it? What are your thoughts on the book?
