I am looking at this as a lightweight way to help track and protect the computer usage of our kids. We really don't have any problems with content - since we don't have private computer areas for them. But are looking at ways to shut down their usage, like blocking internet access after a certain amount of time.

I could use any reviews, comments, etc. by those who have looked at or used this software.

You can control times of usage through the parental controls built into Vista or available through the control panel with W7. You can also track sites visited and I believe duration of online use. I'd start by seeing if that gave adequate controls.

As for sites visited, I'm a fan of 'trust but verify'. So I use Windows parental controls for content, as well.

I use K9 on my old XP machine, but it has problems playing well with PB.
