Yesterday I was teaching Sunday School and I was tackling an Introduction to the Exodus story.

I decided to introduce the pictures of the Egyptian gods to divert a little into the seriousness of idolatry.

So the conversation developed and we all agreed that idols are not alive, and that it is stupid to worship idols.

I then showed that today we worship idols of money etc.

I then asked the question.

"If worshipping idols is stupid, why do people worship them?"

This kid responded, "Because they are stupid".
