Puritan Board Senior
"Chrysostom said once, 'That if he were the fittest in the world to preach a sermon to the whole world, gathered together as one congregation, and had some high mountain as his pulpit, from whence he might have prospect of all the world in his view, and were furnished with a voice of brass, a voice as loud as the trumpets of the archangel, that all the world might hear him, he would choose to preach upon no other text than that in the Psalms,' O mortal men, how long will ye love vanity, and follow after leasing? Ps 2"
(Quoted by Thomas Brooks in Precious Remedies)

Following Chrysostom's fanciful opportunity, what would be your choice of sermon?

Initially I had thought of a few different passages but on reflection looking at the modern world, Ps 2 would be a good passage. Rebellion, vanity, wrath and grace-just what the world needs to hear. "Do homage to the Son, that he not become angry."
