Can't help you brother. I'm still back in the dark ages using Logos 3. It will be a long time before I can justify the expense to upgrade. Is 4 that much better anyway?

Until L4 has the ability to print (that's right, you can't print out anything from L4) I will consider it to be beta. They've been promising a printer driver but so far it's so much vaporware.

Both features are scheduled for second quarter 2010, which means by June we should have both as well as many other great features. As far as support for the still truth PBB's, boy I sure hope so! Logos has always assured us we will always be able to use our books from previous versions and they have always delivered. I know they have not promised this with PBB's I also know there would be a huge uproar if we could not read them so I expect them to be working to make it so we can.

Tom, they have not promised the printing support and not delivered, it has always been scheduled for second quarter. Not to mention you can upgrade to Logos 4 for free. If you want to crossgrade to receive some new features it may cost a bit of money, I think I paid about $200 for the Gold, I got about 150 new books as well. I hope this helps, I do sell Logos but I do not work for them and do not speak for them, these are my opinions.

I paid to upgrade the original languages version and they didn't note anywhere in the promotional pages that it didn't print. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice package and it's really growing on me. A bit of a learning curve but the more I use it the more I like it. I just probably would have held off had i known about the printing, but I'm not disappointed with my purchase. I just think there's an implied understanding that printing is a standard feature of any software package, especially research software, unless conspicuously noted otherwise.

I upgraded as well and I definitely think that they released way too soon. They could have waited another year and it would have went better. I think that this is the last upgrade I will be pruchasing from Logos considering the bugginess/lack of standard features of this previous release.
