I remember when Riverdance first came out on video. We'd see clips as part of the annual PBS fundraising drive and Alex - the Navy musician stationed in Yokosuka - was the low brass section leader in his high school band at the time. He watched it, dumbfounded, sputtering about how "I can't even manage to get my section to march in a straight line, and look at them!" ;^)
