Volume four of Thomas Brooks' works is wholly comprised of his book, The Crown and Glory of Christianity. It is an outstanding treatise on gospel holiness, which everyone should make a real effort to read. Those of you who only know Brooks through the reprints of his shorter books in the Puritan Paperback series may consider him too hard to read. Perhaps he is only for more advanced readers, but I did not find this particular book overly difficult. One really interesting point to note is that, as part of his postmillennial eschatology, Brooks believed that the Jews would be restored to their own land.
