I love the Banner, but they don't have bottomless pocke
Banner will often do "outtakes" of a man's collected writings, especially if he is partially in print already or they simply don't think a full run of a huge collection will sell. Charnock is a good example of the former, T. Goodwin of the latter. Manton's works have not been republished [i:f191bee63a]in toto[/i:f191bee63a] for many years, but Banner has commentary extracts, for example (James, Psalm 119). If Banner numbers their volumes, then sometimes they won't correspond to the original volume numbers (Dabney is a good example). So, ya gotta do some digging sometimes to know.
With reference to Goodwin, I have the 1996 Tanski reprint of the 12 vol. 18th century collection--includes an index vol. They were dissapearing slowly from some book warehouses(like Cumberland Valley & Trinity) a few years ago. But some unsold sets may still be around.
And there's always the INTERNET and the used market.
