Marrow Man
Drunk with Powder
Last week a posed a question about copier toner and didn't get a whole lot of feedback. The missus (correctly) pointed out that my question was far too specific, so I would like pose it again in a more general manner.
Those of you who have copiers that require expensive toner cartridges -- have you ever used the refurbished cartridges that can be purchased online or at toner/ink stores? In some cases, stores like Staples sell generic versions as well -- but their brand name tends to be more expensive and their brand costs the same as the name brand at other places!!!
I priced a new toner cartridge at Office Depot yesterday. It costs $125. Across the shopping center is a toner/ink place. They sell a refurbished cartridge for less than $90. The only thing I have to do is bring the old cartridge in for a swap. The lady said it was 100% certified. Have any of the rest of you had any success going this route? I'm trying to save the church some money here.
