Puritan Board Doctor
Awhile back, there was a thread somewhere on the PB about whether John Calvin was convicted of sodomy during his youth. R. Scott Clark, on the faculty at Westminster Seminary in California, has taken up the question. He has posted an article about this on the seminary's website. The article is called "Was Calvin a Convict?" and is available at Westminster Seminary California. For some reason, I can't get to the article directly from the homepage, although I think it appears on Dr. Clark's "portion" of Westminster's site.

When reading the article (which I first gained access to through Dr. Clark's Twitter feed), the search box at the top says: clark.wscal.edu/was_calvin_convicted.php. Naturally, typing that in the search box from scratch got me nowhere.

Anyway, the answer to the article's title appears to be a resounding: "No."

Dr. Clark's article is very interesting and informative - if you can find it!
