Puritan Board Freshman
Not sure what I should read next. I have a terrible habit of starting books that I have and not finishing them, and most of the ones that I have I have not actually read. I can definitely get paralyzed by the choices and also the feeling that I have to “check them all off.” I relate to a poster in a thread a long time ago who said that their reading tends to be a mile wide and an inch deep. I find it hard to soak in what I actually read without just merely intellectualizing it sometimes.
Which of these works do you think would be best for a young Reformed guy who is new in vocational ministry to read? Note: these works are all more theological because for the RUF internship we read 1-2 more devotional/practical Christian works each month (plus I am going through WCF 1-2 and WSC 1-5 this month). (Unless you think it’s an absolutely essential read, please don’t suggest any not on this list because these are all books that I currently own.)
