Experienced a wonderful service at Cedar Springs Presbyterian, Knoxville TN, for the beginning of Global Missions week. The visiting speaker, Oscar Muriu Senior Pastor, Nairobi Chapel, Nairobi, Kenya delivered a powerful message from 2 Corinthians 5:14-20 prefaced with the question; "Are the things you are living for worth Christ dying for?"
Certainly an inspiring message from both Paul and Pastor Muriu; and at least for myself, I believe I will have to begin applying that particular question to the things I do and strive for in my daily living. Also, I would see this as a sobering entrance into an appropriate spirit of worship.
Blessings to all.
