The second ordination vow in the PCA for officers reads as follows:

2. Do you sincerely receive and adopt the Confession of Faith and the Catechisms of this Church, as containing the system of doctrine taught in the Holy Scriptures; and do you further promise that if at any time you find yourself out of accord with any of the fundamentals of this system of doctrine, you will, on your own initiative, make known to your Session the change which has taken place in your views since the assumption of this ordination vow?

Although the situation involves a non-confessional church, I think the principle is the same. A person is obligated to God to take the initiative themselves to make known any significant shifts in their beliefs that occur. If new these new convictions require one to hide or be cautious about revealing them to associates or the oversight body, I again think the principle behind the second ordination vow applies.
