I've read that Melancthon became something of a synergist at the end of his life and was in controversy with more orthodox Lutheranism. This is supposedly reflected in the later editions of Loci Communes. I have the Library of Christian Classics edition (with Bucer) and I found it outstanding. I am currently reading the Defense of the Augsburg Confession and it, too, is outstanding. So which edition of Loci is in LCC?
