3 out of 3 here too.

Our family has a Board each year. We play for a plastic trophy and bragging rites till next year.

The trophy WILL be mine this year. Oh yes.....it will be MINE !!!!!!!!

12/30 - Meineke Car Care Bowl - Boston College (9-3) vs. Navy (9-3) BC

Thus far, let's see... that'd be... 6-12. (Adam is 11-7 by my count...
I'll leave prognostication to him)

:)

12/30 - Alamo Bowl - Texas (9-3) vs. Iowa (6-6) Texas
12/30 - Chick-Fil-A Bowl - Virginia Tech (10-2) vs. Georgia (8-4) Tech
12/31 - MPC Computers Bowl - Nevada (8-4) vs. Miami (6-6) Miami
1/1 - Outback Bowl - Penn State (8-4) vs. Tennessee (9-3) PSU

1/6 - International Bowl - Cincinnati (7-5) vs. Western Michigan (8-4) Western
1/7 - GMAC Bowl - Southern Mississippi (8-5) vs. Ohio (9-4) Ohio

1/1 - Rose Bowl - Michigan (11-1) vs. USC (10-2) Michigan (proving again the idiocy of the BCS)
1/1 - Fiesta Bowl - Oklahoma (11-2) vs. Boise State (12-0) Oklahoma (it'll be fun!)
1/2 - Orange Bowl - Wake Forest (11-2) vs. Louisville (11-1) Louisville (tossup though)
1/3 - Sugar Bowl - Notre Dame (10-2) vs. LSU (10-2) LSU (I hope by 21)
1/8 - BCS Title Game Bowl - Ohio State (12-0) vs. Florida (12-1) (OSU - not even close)

This has been a very strange season for me and I blame the whole BCS fooferaw.

Not only did I have to root for Notre Dame to beat USC, but now, due to Urban Meyer's behavior, I have to root for Ohio State to crush Florida.

In the past I was happy.

I never had to root for Notre Dame and in the Bowl Season I could root for every Big Ten team except for Ohio State.

All was well.

This is just so unnatural.

I won't claim that the Insight Bowl is anything that has anybody sitting on the edge of their chair with excitement
BUT it sure got exciting last night.
Ofcourse if I was a Golden Gofer I wouldn't say that.
My home town Red Raiders surprised me.
I have to admit I am the guy refered to in the statement "oh ye of little faith."
Great lesson in NEVER give up.

Well. I am 12-7 after the Texas/Iowa game...did you miss one?

I picked Georgia to win, but don't remember picking them. The game is on so it's too late to change my pick, but when I saw it today I was like "what the...." (lol)

I am a Big Ten fan so I found that game to be sickening. Iowa choking in the end was pretty sad too. I didn't expect Purdue could beat Maryland though. Here's hoping the Big Ten win their remaining 4 games!

Correction !

12 & 7 !

I marked in that Minnesota last night too early...I had NO IDEA T.Tech was going to score 24 4th Quater Points. Crazy....

Wow, I guess I am lucky I didn't/couldn't change my pick. Can't believe Georgia came back but call me 13 and 7 as well.

14 & 7 ! Way to go Miami ....

My Mother in Law dropped one: She is now 17 & 4 !

It's killing me : )

I did not want Miami to win but I picekd them to go 14 and 7 as well.

Your mother in law is 17 and 4????

Is she a big football fan, or did she just guess?

I would say she's a person with slightly more knowledge of football than the average girl, and less than the average guy. She's won our family board before, however. Me thinks she's doing some serious dart throwing at the outset or some seriously good guessing. :um:

Well I note today that the Iowa folks fired that coach.

Don't I feel foolish for picking against MY team?!?!?!

I must say though, that Morelli (QB) looked better than he ever has in his entire life. Here's hoping that's a great way to start next season. With many guys returning I think we stand a shot at winning it all.

I hope you are right.

(btw, your book just left for Carlisle today)

15 & 8 ! I picked Penn State over TN and Also Neb over Auburn ( Lost that one )

Mother in Law: 19-4. She picked Penn and Aub
She also has Wis over Ark

She's starting to look like a Genius. I think she has a bookie in her ear !! LOL

We rooted for the University of Texas because I have a son going to school there...and they won.

We rooted for Texas Tech in football and again today in basketball because I have a son going to school there...and they won

And we rooted for Penn State because my wife graduated from there...and they won.

If only the Dallas Plowboys had won we would have had a clean sweep this year.

Well... they made the playoffs :)

Now Dallas's season is over... that is, unless the dingbat, fumblebum Seahawk team that has shown up several times this year decides to make one last appearance next week. ;)

Hoping this won't be the case,

Todd

Okay, so it's looking a little bit brighter after the past few games...

12/30 - Alamo Bowl - Texas
12/30 - Chick-Fil-A Bowl - VA Tech
12/31 - MPC Computers Bowl - Miami
1/1 - Outback Bowl - PSU
1/1 - Cotton Bowl - Auburn
1/1 - Gator Bowl - WVU
1/1 - Capital One Bowl - Wisconsin

now that'd make me 12-13 :) Slightly more respectable...
Still, I can't hold a :candle: to Bradford's mother-in-law!

What's the difference between Texas A&M and Corn Flakes? Corn Flakes belong in a bowl.:D

Sorry Wayne, I thought that was funny though!

17 and 8 here now :)

Let's go Michigan! PSU and Wisconsin won for the Big Ten -The Wolverines need to keep it going.

WE ARE!!!!

Well, I am headed to 17 and 9 as (shockingly to me) USC is KILLING Michigan. It's actually kind of sad and I am not a Michigan fan, just a Big Ten fan. Apparently Michigan has been very, very over rated. :(
