How many are coming to Dallas in Feb. for Presbytery? My Pastor, wants me to come in "visitor" status, I think it would be cool, not sure if I will make this one.

I remember one PCA minister tell me that Presbytery meetings lasted for 6-8 hours!!! Ours last for about 2.

They have a worship service on Friday night then will start the agenda usually adjourning at 10PM. The hosting church will usually have a dinner prepared. Start up again in the morning and go till about 1PM. I wouldn't call it an exciting time (check the agenda) but it is interesting. If there are any examinations, those usually are good to see.

Anyone can go to a presbytery meeting.

Every presbytery is different, my presbytery (MVP) lasts 7-9 hours (They meet once a quarter) which is different than other presbyteries that might not meet as much.

We usually have multiple candidates, interns, licentiates, and those seeking ordination to be tested, so that lasts a few hours typically. It just depends on the presbytery.

Make him play you some Chicago blues.
Don't let him even try to pretend that he doesn't have his harmonica with him.

the meeting is at Christ Presbyterian Church in Flower Mound. For you, you might want to pack a bag for an overnight trip. the meeting starts on Friday at 7:00 pm and then adjourns around 9:30 or 10:00 and starts again on Saturday for breakfast at 7:00 am and meeting starts at 8:00 am until noon or around that time. Presbytery meetings are interesting I think you will enjoy yourself.

...Well, I do not feel worthy or called to preach! I would be going ONLY to learn some of the ropes of Presbyterian politics! Sort of a field-trip.
