Stephen - the link that was posted was for Android. If you have an iOS device you will have to download it from the Apple App Store instead. Just search for 1650 Psalter and it should come right up. If you follow the link that Jake posted it will have links to the App Store.

Thank you. I am a little ignorant of the latest in technology :) I have a HP Laptop. I see a similar link in i tunes. I assume this will work on my laptop? https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/1650-split-leaf-psalter/id1198280376?mt=8

Any help for us novices is appreciated.

As the content at the link states:
Compatibility: Requires iOS 8.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

So it will not work for a Windows operating system.

Try this:

I have the 1650 Scottish Psalter. If anyone knows of Psalter audio tunes that I can download onto my laptop I would be greatful for an Internet link.

There are a number of old threads that have posts with links to downloads of psalm tunes from the 1650, e.g.,:

You know, for posterity's sake, I think I'll just copy and paste every resource I know right here so as to make this question easier to answer next time it comes up (Some of these resources are more useful than others; and there is definitely some overlap).

Just having a quick play with the app.

I was hoping for an ability to isolate the parts (and-or) control the volumes which would be even better. There are barbershop examples of tag singing apps which would work well if used as templates for psalms, that is, if the goal is to learn 4 part harmony singing. (Five part as the tenor and soprano are doubled on an octave)

Also, some of the midi file tunes are using piano and others orchestra possibly string quartet.
Better to aim for an agreed fixed consistency as this also alters the volumes.

All in all a great app and much needed and I'm sure the updates will continue to improve on it.
