Time for the annual college pick 'em contest.
For newcomers - any PB member can participate. Pick the winners for each listed game, and the winner and final score for the tiebreaker.
The winner each week qualifies to participate in the bowl pick 'em at the end of the season. While this week's games run Thursday through Monday, I will never list a Sunday game, and this week I omitted Thursday and Friday games. The contest closes each week with the kickoff for the first listed game.
Suggestions for upcoming matchups are welcome, although my bias is to look for top 25 matchups and games which should be close, not blowouts by the big teams.
Note: the first listed game this season is being played in Dublin, Ireland, and looks like it will be a sellout. So I hope we get participation by non-USA board members this year.
Five neutral site games this week, and an unusally high number of of big matchups this early in the season.
Georgia Tech – Boston College (in Dublin) (7:30 AM Eastern kickoff)
#3 Oklahoma - #15 Houston (Texans Stadium)
#16 UCLA @ Texas A&M
#20 So.Cal - #1 Alabama (Jerry Dome)
#11 Ole Miss – #4 FSU (Citrus Bowl)
San Jose State @ Tulsa
SMU @ North Texas
#5 LSU @ Wisconsin
#2 Clemson @ Auburn
Arizona – BYU (University of Phoenix Stadium)
Tiebreaker (Pick winner and final score)
# 18 Georgia - #22 North Carolina (at Georgia Dome)
