Anybody in Houston?

I'm stuck in a hotel about 15 minutes from the Bush airport, and I have nothing to do at all (2 days overdue for getting back home from a business trip). No churches within walking distance. I was able to make it to a service this morning, as I was at a different hotel, but tonight I've got nothing.

I've got plenty of reading material to keep myself occupied, but I figure it would be worth a shot to ask if anybody wanted to meet up tonight or tomorrow morning. My flight supposedly leaves tomorrow afternoon at 1, though with my luck, that will mean some time Wendesday.

Any takers on this late notice?

It's probably a little late to find an evening service, though that would be great.

On Sunday evenings, Christ Church PCA gathers together for corporate worship at Cornerstone EPC Church at 1351 South Mason Road. Cornerstone is located just north of the Randall Shopping Plaza between Highland Knolls Drive and Cimarron Parkway (on the corner of Park York Drive).

Those both sound great! I would absolutely love to hear Fred preach. I didn't know Katy was that close. Only 35 minutes from my hotel. Christ-Church PCA looks equally appealing.

Unfortunately without a car they only serve to make me jealous. The company would certainly not reimburse me for getting another car after turning one in, only for a 24-hour delay. I'm not quite that important yet

Since it looks like I've missed the boat, later tonight and breakfast tomorrow is still possible if anyone is interested.

I should be back in Houston in August, so I will certainly plan ahead better to try to visit those two.

Sorry I missed you - by 5:50 I had already headed out to church (service is at 6). Let me know when you are coming back in August and we can get together. If you are over a weekend, we can arrange to get you to church.

No problem, Pastor Greco. That was as soon as I could get internet access. It was a long shot. But I am certainly looking forward to, Lord-willing, a slightly less hectic August trip. Shouldn't have to worry about snowstorms.
